The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S are excellent summer performance tires. They handle spirited driving and acceleration and hold up well in the corners. I am constantly surprised by the minimal wear I find after nearly 20000 miles. Road noise is not the best and the comfort is a bit on the rough side though I would expect as such from a performance oriented tire. That said, grip and confidence in the rain is excellent. I did have occassion to drive around the block in snow … not a good idea. Snow/Ice + these tires = dangerous ; but again, would not expect differently from a summer performance focused tire. These are a great purchase and, unless Michelin unleashes a Pilot Sport 5, these would be a great choice to buy again.
